Apricot versoin I have been making THIS recipe since my sourdough starter came in from King Arthur and I have been playing around with it. I have made them plain, with cinnimon sugar inside and coffee iceing and today I tried them with apricot jam from Trader Joe's inside and a basic icing/glaze and they are wonderful. So light and airy, not what you would expect with sourdough. I also made them with butter, garlic salt and parm. cheese inside but I haven't tried them yet. Too full from the yummy apricot. |
